Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We don't sell lists of homeowners. But Real Estate Agents pay for our Services, and some state privacy laws treat giving a homeowner's details to a paid agent as a “sale” or “sharing” — even when we're doing it because the homeowner asked us to. So we let anyone opt out, whichever state you live in.

When you opt out, we stop disclosing your information to Real Estate Agents and stop using it in outreach emails sent through our Services. We keep your email address on a do-not-contact list so it stays that way. If you later ask us, through our estimate form, to connect you with an agent, we'll treat that as your choice for that request.

Thank you. If you asked to delete, see, or correct your information, we'll email you from hello@localhomereport.com to confirm the request came from you.

What happens next

Opt-outs and unsubscribes take effect as soon as we can process them, and no later than 15 business days after we receive them. An email already queued may still arrive in that window.
Delete, access, and correct requests: we confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. If we need longer, we'll tell you why, and we'll take no more than 45 extra days.
Checking it's you. Before we delete, disclose, or change anything, we'll ask you to confirm from the email address you gave. We don't need any identification to process an opt-out.
Authorized agents can make a request for someone else. Include written permission signed by that person, or a power of attorney; we may still ask the person to confirm.
If we say no, we'll explain why. You can appeal by replying to our answer, and if you're still unsatisfied, you may be able to complain to your state attorney general.
No penalty. We don't treat anyone differently for using these rights.
